Click Here For Festival Program Guide PDF Hi Friends! We’re looking forward to getting the 11 th Bluegrass on the Bogs off in just a few days time. We’ll try to keep everyone informed about last minute planning changes, but for now everything is good to go for a great weekend of music. Hopefully the weather cooperates with us again this year! Here are just a few last minute items: ARRIVAL TIME . In order to give folks more time to get settled in, we will open the gates at 2:00 PM Friday afternoon. Local Freight will start things off shortly after dinner, but we want to give folks ample time to get settled in their spots for the weekend. Plenty of folks will be on hand to help you out. PARKING PASSES . When you arrive at the gate (either on Camp Kiwanee Road or at the Rainbow Camp, depending upon availability) a BOTB volunteer will greet you. Please have a printed copy of your reserved parking and tickets with you to show the attendant when you drive in, or, if you did not prepay parking, please have cash on hand to pay the parking volunteers as you arrive (Friday, $5, Saturday, $10, Sunday, $5). The volunteers will have a list of names of people who have reserved cabins, RV, camper and tent sites, so if you fall under that category, just give them your name and they’ll check you off the list at the gate and give you a sticker for your vehicle. All vehicles will stickers attached to their front windshield for the day or days you plan on attending. TICKETING BOOTH . Once you have parked, please stop by the ticket booth and pick up your passes for the weekend. As in past years, we will give you a wristband at the gate. If you are paying when you arrive, please remember to have either cash or a personal check to pay when you arrive. We WILL keep the e-ticket sites going throughout the weekend, so those with smart phones will be able to pay at the gate using a credit card throughout the weekend. We will not have a debit card reader at the ticket booth. RULES . We have posted our festival rules on the website, so please have a look at them. Here are the biggies: please remember that wristbands must be worn and visible at all times for all festival goers watch your children at all times, especially down by the beach and boat launch dogs are allowed but must remain on a leash at all times (and not be a nuisance, especially when bands are on stage) BOTB is a non-alcohol event anyone caught misbehaving or violating any rules will forfeit their wristband (and payment for the weekend) and be escorted from the premises by local law enforcement Camp Kiwanee Road and the rotary must be kept open and unobstructed for the entire festival and anyone in violation of this will have their cars towed immediately; finally Bluegrass on the Bogs is all about listening to great music, so please be respectful to performing musicians and refrain from excessive or loud chatter while folks are performing. DEPARTURE AT THE END OF THE NIGHT. Once the last act has wrapped up on Friday and Saturday nights, we will ask from the stage that folks who have not paid and signed for a cabin, rv, camper or tent spot for the weekend please exit Camp Kiwanee in a cautious and respectful manner. Local police officers and our volunteers will be on-hand to ensure people exit the grounds safely. The gate will close after the last day camper has exited the venue. QUIET AND PICKING CAMPING SITES. Please remember to keep things quiet in both camping and picking sections after the Main Stage closes. Loud behavior will not be tolerated after hours. CHAIRS. We don’t provide them, so please remember to bring a folding chair to sit in for the weekend. Regular festival rules are in effect at BOTB about seating: if no one is sitting in a seat, you are welcome to use it, but remember to yield the seat to its proper owner if they come along and ask to sit. That’s about all for now, but we’ll be in touch if anyone has any questions or concerns! Mike, Bette and all Steve Lutke Band
